Everyone has a story to tell. Everyone is a writer.
Some are written in the books, and some are confined to hearts.

If I have any words of advice for you, it is this: embrace every day, even the rough ones. Each day is your very own page, and you have the power to write the words on those pages. Be courageous, and be strong, but don’t forget it is okay to be weak at times, too.

Life is not meant to be caged in your hometown, but it should be a wondrous place to be explored.

Humans seem to be the only creatures who say they live freely, but they are bound by the restrictions they place for themselves. We are not just bound to our work, but to our homes. We do not roam. We live in a small, isolated location—a cage would perhaps best describe it.

If two souls are destined to meet, the universe will always find a way to make the connection. Even when you lose all hope, certain bonds cannot be broken. They show us who we were, who we are and who we can become. Amidst everything, nature will always find a way.’

Remember, everyone has a story. It might or might not be a love story. It could be a story of dreams, friendship, hope, survival or even death. And every story is worth telling. But more than that, it’s worth living.

Money comes with a price, and for me, the price is both freedom and a real life. I hope someday I can make up my mind to chase my dreams.

We were in different cities, across the world from each other, and you can call it silly, but it felt as if we were still connected by each sunrise and each sunset.

Some pieces of life find themselves so attached to our mind that when they are gone, they remind us of themselves a lot more than before. Yet someday we will realize that every piece becomes blurry, every memory starts fading. Just like an old book.

I guess, having stories stuck in my own soul was the reason I needed to hear other people’s stories. But I didn’t just want to hear stories; my heart was aching to tell a beautiful story which would change people’s lives, or at least mine.

But for some of us, there’s only now, only today. And the truth is, you never really know when God might need back the ones we love. So cherish every moment and everyone in your life.

We all seemed to have a deeper perspective in life, we knew what we wanted to achieve, but were we really ready for that day when the change came?

~

It has been a long-time dream of mine and, as I set out to do this, I realize that this must be what it feels like to be a baby bird, perched on the edge of its nest, ready and anxious to fly to other places.

~

People need stories. Stories of love, hope, survival, wisdom and sometimes pain. Maybe you don’t tell them the full truth; maybe you tell them lies. But what is this world?
A lie in itself.

~

From This Is Not Your Story

Remember, there is a cost for every story in your life. A cost for making your story better, a cost for not making your story better. And it’s you who will have to pay for it. So decide carefully, what you want. Which story you want to tell?

~

Life’s a funny thing, you know? If you don’t give all of yourself to the life you want, heart, soul and mind, you won’t go anywhere at all. Many times I’ve found myself stuck, a lot like you are here, on this bench, unable to move no matter how much I yearned to go to that next chapter in my life.

~

‘So what do you do when you get stuck?’

‘I give it what it asks of me. I take risks, especially if the worst that can happen changes  nothing from where I was sitting.’

~

If you keep lamenting over your past, you can never build your future!

~

The weight of regret and asking yourself what if, down the road, is far more haunting to one’s soul. What if I took that chance? Well, if the worst that happens is that you have to come back home and pick up where you left off, at least you can stop wasting time on dreaming and wondering if it’s still a possibility.

~

You can be afraid, depressed. Life can be unfair. I think the easier thing is to give up—it is far harder to keep going. Find the strength.

~

Life can knock you down like a stone falling from the sky with no warning. You have to hold on to the belief that it will get better.

~

Some stories are hidden deep within you. You just need to find them.

~

I may not know what it is you really want to do, but the only person who can put you on that path is yourself. It takes devotion and a great deal of self-motivation to even start a dream career, goal, or path … whichever it may be for you.

~

But don’t give me a forever. Give me an always.

~

To reach for a dream, even if you are struggling, is the most freeing sensation in one’s life.

Remember, only you are responsible from keeping yourself from achieving it. Don’t let others’ opinions and wants destroy that dream. It’s what feels right in your heart.

~

It’s hard to take that risk, to tie yourself down to only one ambition, but even if you fail, you’ll never live a life of regret.

~

Life is always presenting new opportunities. I may not have taken the chance before, but that doesn’t mean I have missed that opportunity, right? It’s time to be brave and grab hold of that second chance.

~

Life is forgiving. Every experience, failed or successful, is never wasted. All the time spent does work towards a final goal, some known and some newly-discovered on the journey. You have to have faith in yourself, confidence in who you are and want to be, and be brave enough to take the steps towards achieving your dream.

~

There are opportunities that come and go, like the trains on this very track. You can climb on any train and it will take you down a new path. But you need to decide which platform to stand on and which train is the one that is the most important for you.

~

It takes tremendous bravery to even decide to live.

~

There is a great storm in your heart right now, but the rain will stop and the clouds will clear. You will see the sun again.

~

It will be hard, but at some point you will understand that your story is your own. Then you can move forward and keep creating it.

~

Sometimes you can embrace art and use it as a way to travel without stepping a foot outside your home.

~

You’re letting life write your story. But you can control how that story is written; rather than allow it to be created for you.

~

Each day, every moment, our actions continue to write our story. In this document, our personas play out on stage, pushed and pulled by the events and encounters we have.

~

The moment I started asking myself “why”, I started getting answers.

~

We choose to change our life path; it does not happen by chance.

~

Don’t be too scared to face this fear head-on. The fear you feel is not meant to scare you; it’s emerging to tell you how completely important this decision is for you.

~

I’m terrified of the future, but I feel an odd sense of power now. Perhaps making the decision to grasp hold of life can be a scary thing, but that decision also emboldens you, nurtures you, and pushes you forward. That is true power.
